Pemberley

Woke up to mist ! another weather experience.

Once the mist had cleared we walked to the top of a nearby hill with a view of the cottages.

Then we visited Lyme Park, which is where Pemberley was filmed in the BBC Pride and Prejudice. Unfortunately Mr Darcy was away, kept checking the ponds incase he arrived home a day early...

If you are not a P & P fan (surely not possible !) sorry for the overload.

Inside the house was beautiful however was not used in the filming. 

ok no more Pride and Prejudice.

Then caught a Virgin Train home.

The cows were very friendly and came over for a pat...definitely a cow !

This was Elizabeth Bennett's first view of  Pemberley.
