This was the day we packed up from Inverness and headed for Fort William.
End of sunshine....lots of wet.
The plan was to visit the Isle of Skye on the way to Fort William. We gave up on the Isle of Skye very quickly as we just couldn't see it ,it was cold and it was wet.
After we left Skye we found a very picturesque castle called Eilean Donan. They had an excellent tour and even learnt what Scottish men wear under their kilts....not pretty.
We stayed on Loch Lochy just outside of Fort William. They have a monster too called Lizzie but she must have been on holiday with Nessie..no sign of her.

LOL! now you'll have to tell me about this kilt story when you're back home... Gorgeous places, despite of the rain! Actually, I don't think it would look like Scotland if it were sunny!!! Keep them coming - I have my first coffee in the morning with you and your adventures!

Yes it was, just loved the west coast would love to go back again and explore more.
