Hampton Court

On Monday we jumped on a train and went to Hampton Court Palace. I was born just down the road so always love going there for sentimental reasons..

Of course lunch came first, jet lag seems to make us hungry most of the time.  Notice the sun, a rare occurrence so far....

Then it was off to explore the palace. We did a self guided tour around Henry VIII apartments and William and Mary's apartments which we thoroughly enjoyed. Kept meeting Henry VIII...bit spooky..

Then it was off to Euston station to catch the train to Scotland and Fort William.
